Description

The formula clears heat, promotes normal urination (diuretic), and has an inhibitory effect against various pathogenic bacteria.
Caution in patients with deficiency and cold of the Spleen and Stomach and is contraindicated in vomiting caused by cold in the middle jiao. . UTD has a diuretic effect. Though this potential interaction has not been documented, concurrent use with diuretic drugs may lead to increased elimination of water and/or electrolytes. [Note: Examples of diuretics include chlorothiazide, hydrochlorothiazide, furosemide (Lasix), bumetanide (Bumex), and torsemide (Dermadex).
